Inkfish Communications comes up from Somerset Inkfish has promoted Catherine Taylor, Internal Communications Adviser at their Brighton Call Centre, to Acting Internal Communications Manager for their seven sites across the UK. Her place at Brighton will be taken by Howard Doney and, by coincidence both originate from Somerset but were attracted by the excitement of the City Both Catherine and Howard have benefited from the Inkfish approach, which means that all members of staff have the opportunity to build their career through training and personal development. A native of Somerset, Catherine graduated from Kingston University and then won a place at Sussex University to train as a teacher, but never started the course. Instead, she joined Inkfish as an agent, quickly winning promotion to Operations Support, before moving into Internal Communications at Queen Square. Her new role will be based in Brighton but she will work across all the UK sites making sure that communications internally go from the Board to the team agents. Projects such as conducting the Group's Annual Employee Survey, developing action plans from these for each site and ensuring that all Board members meet staff representatives at each site at least twice a year will be her responsibility. A Taunton lad, Howard decided Brighton was the place to be when he began his career.
