Inkfish walking tribute to Daniel

Inkfish girls will be taking part in the all female Martlets Midnight Walk next Friday, 15th June, to raise funds in memory of their colleague 27-year-old Daniel Haigh, whom the Hospice cared for before he died from cancer in April.

HR assistant, Crystal Phillips, will lead the 'Inkfish Incredibles' on the marathon walk, which starts at Brighton Racecourse at midnight, snaking across Brighton for 13 miles, before returning in time for breakfast. She will be joined by Catherine Taylor, Debby Thompson, Chrissie Crowhurst, Justine Smith and Lucy Crowther, not to mention a few Inkfish men who have volunteered to act as stewards.

As Crystal says: "We were devastated when Daniel was diagnosed with cancer and we all miss a great colleague. Going on the walk to raise funds for the Martlets was the least we could do and we aim to raise around £500. It's been hard training for us all - no lifts, cars or buses for ages!
