Great call handling starts with intelligent recruitment. Inkfish has taken award-winning steps to appeal to a wide recruitment pool of quality candidates. These include:

Mature individuals:

  • At Inkfish we believe there’s no substitute for experience; we’re proud to accommodate older workers, and have been officially recognised as an Age Positive Employer.

Non-traditional workers:

  • We’re determined not to lose great staff simply because of maternity, childcare or other issues. An extra benefit of our flexible working initiatives  ~ recognised by a Work Life balance award ~ is we can also appeal to non-traditional workers.

Those without wheels:

  • Because all our call centres are based in city centres, those who are neither drivers nor car-owners can consider working with us.  The ease of getting to work also means reduced levels of absenteeism.

Selecting the best candidates

Drawing on a deep and wide recruitment pool is meaningless unless you can then identify and attract high quality candidates who fit your needs. At Inkfish we believe recruitment is a two-way street; our candidates should be as impressed by us as we are by them.

That’s why we go to great lengths to ensure candidates have a full understanding of the roles they are applying for, and of the specific challenges and rewards ahead. To this end, we often allow individuals to listen to calls on the floor.

We recruit according to the needs of our client’s campaign. To this end, we use a range of tools, including psychometric testing. That way, we can match the candidates to the needs of the campaign.
